This took too long to do. And yes, I know how strange it is for me, of all people, Matt "Question the Majority" Garner, to jump onto a crazy art fad like this, but what the heck.
Anyway, here's my entry into the Pixel Fighter foray: My admittedly horrendous Pixel ID. Well, I thought it was cute. I had difficulty deciding how my stats should be arranged concerning my trademark mood swings, and then it hit me! My mood swings ARE my trademark! So as a fighting game character, I'd be that enigmatic fighter whose statistics are always changing! It all depends on which side of the card is facing up. If you get the "Manic" side, then the stats (particularly "Will") are generally in your favor, but if you get "Depression," then your stats are gonna' be just about as low as a desert rattlesnake with indigestion!* I was also planning to stick Fritz & Donna in there somewhere, but there just wasn't room, unfortunately.
*Colorful redneck gibberish may or may not be included in the final version of the game.
The Pixel Fighter phenomenon is, of course, the brainchild of and we must all now leap upon the bandwagon and ride it to its eventual demise.
This is a great - albeit unorthodox - addition though I know I should expect no less from you. The twin-bodied Matt concerns me though, what with the peculiar conjunction at the midriff.
Your...ahem "Sprite" is fun and dynamic as always.
I rather enjoy the card. It's clever. You and your blue skin and changing stats.
I WANT THIS GAME! D:

Hey, if I'm gonna' jump on a bandwagon, I'm gonna' do it in my own dang way. And I'm also too lazy to spend even MORE time doing an ID when I can just run it through a pixel filter (I already wasted two whole days that I should have spent working on Welcome to Frackstonville issue one). I also thought it was fairly evident that the Manic Depression card was supposed to look like one of those King, Queen, or Jack playing cards with the dual heads.

Ever see one of those things where you look at it, and it's totally unexpected, and then you think about it and it's so geniusly obvious you can't believe you didn't think of it?
Yeah, that was me just now. I think this concept would be interesting in an actual fighting game.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example.
