It's what I assume the Doctor should be wearing in the cartoon since it just seems weird to me that he doesn't wear something eccentric (even if he's just a background pony). Anyway, this would be the 12th incarnation as I play him on Roleplayer.me

Hehe nice one. When you think about it, Eggman/Robotnik can survive almost anything. He's been in numerous explosions, and other deadly situations at the end of so many Sonic games, it's amazing to ponder how he escapes them so many times.
(Heck he fell in a volcano in the ending to "Sonic Spinball.") But I guess "bouncing back" is one of Robotnik's strong points, and what makes him such a classic gaming villain.

Nice one, even though it features a minor-spoiler for "Generations." ;) (Shame I don't own any of the consoles it's on... I actually played the 3DS one today in a Best Buy store demo, and it was pretty good.)

I chalk up his survival to basic Toon logic. After all, the Sonic series is rather wacky.
